The technology of using an inverter to obtain a 230V or 110VAC power supply from a battery is not new. Until now, however, the results were less than perfect as most inverters could only produce an output voltage that was not sine wave formed and the efficiency of the products was low. Mastervolt has optimised the inverter technology, resulting in the availability of a superb range of highly efficient switch mode sine wave inverters.
Mastervolt’s latest range of pure sine wave inverters offer models from 250 watts to 15,000 watts of power with input DC voltage ranges of 12V, 24V or 48V.
Unlike many other brands, Mastervolt’s sine wave range offer high surge power ratings to start heavy inductive loads, such as refrigeration compressors. The low distortion output voltage also makes these inverters suitable for directly powering sensitive electronic loads such as the full range of entertainment systems and navigation equipment.
