Mastervolt is pleased to offer a new generation of microprocessor controlled DC-DC converters. The converter uses switch-mode technology which results in a light weight, safe, reliable and efficient unit.
The MAC and MAGIC models along with the new DC Master Series have two main functions: to convert the 24V from onboard power supply to supply 12V consumers such as navigation and communication equipment, or to charge a 12V battery with a 3 step charge characteristic. The Mac/Magic converters can be paralleled to double / triple the output up to 60A or more.
Both the MAGIC and DC Master models offer full galvanic isolation between input and output which filters any noise between battery and appliance. The MAGIC converter can be used to operate a 12V load from a 24V bank, to charge a 12V battery with a 3 step charge characteristic or as a 12-12V or 24-24V isolator/ stabilizer for sensitive loads.
A further feature of both the MAC and MAGIC models is their ability to operate as a halogen light dimmer offering absolutely silent and interference free dimming.
