Mastervolt

Batteries 12V AGM These 12V AGM batteries are maintenance-free and the newest in the Mastervolt production line
Batteries 12V MVG (Gel) Gel batteries are very suitable as service batteries due to the fact that they can be quickly charged and have a long lifespan, even with many charge/discharge cycles
Batteries 2V MVSV Long and intensive use of energy can best be coped with by using 2V gel batteries

Batteries are a crucial part of your energy system. Some even call it the most important component because they store the power you have been acquiring.

Mastervolt offers a complete range of 12V batteries suited to any type of use. From our AGM batteries with glass fibre technology and our extremely robust gel batteries for repeated discharging, to MVSV 2V cells ideal for the construction of a suitable 12 or 24V battery system. You are guaranteed optimum reliability and the best price/performance ratio on the market and, naturally, a reservoir for an independent power supply.

The Mastervolt Li-Ion battery also offers excellent value for money. Although three times more expensive than an equivalent lead-acid gel battery, the Li-Ion could have a cycle life three times greater, is one third the weight and therefore should work out to be no more expensive in the long run.

What's more, Li-Ion is more efficient. It has 15% higher efficiency, which means it doesn't take as long to charge as its lead-acid cousin - saving fuel and time and maybe even allowing to use a smaller generator!

Toyama Hybrid Gel Marine - Mobile Batteries

Toyama Hybrid Gel

Toyama Hybrid
Gel Marine-Mobile Batteries

The Toyama brand of Hybrid Gel batteries are now available in Australia through Hybrid Energy PTY LTD. These batteries are valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) batteries with a crossbreed of GEL and AGM technologies blended together. Aimed directly at the marine, recreational vehicle and solar market this technology provides better service life, especially deep cycle life and high rates of discharge compared to standard AGM batteries.

Now available in Australia in a selected range through Hybrid Energy, these batteries offer the consumer greater features and benefits over the standard AGM battery such as:

Combining Gel technology with AGM technology
Provides superior cycle life
Excellent performance under high rate discharge (windlass, bow thrusters)
Offers a wide range of acceptable charge parameters
Full particle tank formation to enable batteries to deliver full capacity from first cycle
Acid gelled with fumed silica (A200) made in Germany
Non-spillable, useable in any orientation
Maintenance free
Superior price advantage

Advantages over standard AGM batteries:

Low electrolyte density and corrosion reduction
Electrolyte quantity close to flooded battery, thus extending the float service life
High charging acceptance, increases its cyclic number
Reduces stratification to a minimum
Avoids thermal runaway
